FAQs

Are the TCTSY sessions one-on-one or group facilitated?

TCTSY can be facilitated in small groups or one-on-one. I facilitate group sessions at set times or by request from organisations and I am available for one-on-one sessions throughout the year.

When is the next group session?

I generally facilitate group sessions with an organisation called Collective Being. Visit the Collective Being website to learn more. If you want to organise a group session or course for your organisation, please get in touch to discuss.

Can TCTSY be a standalone treatment?

While you are not required to undergo another kind of trauma therapy when participating in TCTSY, it can be an effective adjunct treatment for complex trauma.

Can I pay for TCTSY sessions using NDIS funding?

Yes. Although I am not an NDIS registered provider, I can invoice using the line item 04_210_0125_6_1. Please get in touch to discuss.

Can we incorporate TCTSY and/or other embodiment and mindfulness practices into a regular disability support shift?

Yes. If you don't want to do a formal yoga / meditation session but think you might benefit from the practices being weaved throughout a disability support shift, then we can work together to do this. It might look like pausing to practice a technique that focuses on checking in with your body and/or breath. Or taking some time before making decisions. Or maybe it looks like doing 10 minutes at the start and end of the shift. it's really up to you on the day, depending on how you are feeling and what you might need.

Do you provide services to organisations?

Yes. If your organisation provides therapy and would like to offer TCTSY as an adjunct treatment for your clients, please get in touch to discuss options and pricing.

Do you offer workshops?

Yes. I offer trauma informed yoga sessions, courses and workshops - these can be tailored to your needs. Please get in touch to discuss. Pricing will depend on what you want, length of session/s and your budget.

Do you offer trauma informed training to professionals?

Yes. I offer a basic half-day workshop on TCTSY and the principles and methods that make it trauma sensitive. This can be applied in various settings within and outside of yoga. It is a useful introduction to anyone who works with a complex trauma population. Please get in touch to discuss pricing.

How much are your services?

For individuals paying privately, visit the fees page. All First Nations clients receive their first 6 sessions of TCTSY for free and ongoing sessions at a concession rate. To make healing more accessible, flexible options are available. Please contact me to discuss your situation.

If you are an NDIS participant and want to access TCTSY and / or disability support, please contact me to discuss. For disability support, pricing is guided by the NDIS pricing guidelines, as well as your budget and the type of support offered.

Where are you based?

For meditation and embodiment, we can work online or out of a small room in a yoga studio in Coburg. Depending on your location, I may also do home visits. For disability support, I generally work around the Northern suburbs and CBD. However, I am flexible and open to requests.
